I’m Sara Lucia and my journey to skincare began by learning from the women in mi familia. From papaya hair masks to aloe vera face masks, I learned how to use food and plants as ingredients to care for my skin at an early age. When I became a mother, I went back to these ancestral traditions and re-discovered the powerful benefits of plants.

After learning the principles of herbalism I began to redefine my relationship with mainstream skincare messages. I wanted slow beauty rituals with wholesome ingredients and minimal steps.

Our mission is to use past wisdom to embody nature in its most healing ways for the WHOLE family while also supporting the local economy of farmers, co-ops, and beekeepers who carefully grow and tend to the plants in Northern California, territory of the Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo people.
